Sheep's yogurt, toronto

I found some at St. Lawrence Market. It's amazing. Do people know other places to find it?

There is a Bulgarian Sheep's milk yogurt in 1 kg cans available at Highland Farms (not always available.) It is around $20, and very good.
I saw the same can at Nasr, before they closed and re-opened under a new name.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record: Fiesta Farms.

I really enjoyed the sheep's milk yogurt I found at Nature's Emporium in Newmarket. It had a sublime flavour. It was 6% fat and very rich tasting.

Just noticed your post. You can find Sheep's yogurt at Longo's. I bought some at the Elgin Mills and Yonge Street location in Richmond Hill.

You may want to consider the possibility that answering a 4 year old question asked by someone who hasn't posted here in 3 years may not be the best use of your time.

I don't know about that bytepusher ... certainly the OP may have no interest, but sometimes resurrecting these old threads meets a current interest ...

Ewenity Dairy makes a great sheep's milk yogurt. Google them, their website lists who in the city carries them.

I met a local, artisanal sheep's milk producer today at a Slow Food conference. Her company is called Monforte Dairy, and she sells her products at the Saturday market at St. Lawrence North. Although she was not offering any yogurt samples today, I did try the sheep's milk cheddar, which was wonderful, as well as some very good spreads.

For a list of other locations to find Monforte's products, check out their website:

Very few stores carry sheep's yogurt.

Noah's told me they DON'T carry it - but The Cheese Dairy (on Bloor, annex) said they normally do.

I like sheep's yogurt (and cheese) WAY better than goat!

pretty much all around. .its nice, i like it. nothing 'sheepy' about it. like someone said above tho, i prefer goat's.

Noah's usually has it. The maple flavor is good.

A little OT but I saw goat's yogurt at Longo's last week and picked it up. So delicious on its own, and amazing in Indian dishes.

Haven't come across sheep's yogurt yet, but I'll be keeping my eye out now.
