Owl Bar

Has anyone tried the new menu at the Owl Bar? Any reccomendations?

As much as I would like to enjoy the Owl Bar I have found it to be one of the worst restaurants in terms of service that I have ever been to. The food isn't bad, I have enjoyed their salads and fried pickles, but the service is horrible. Twice (mid week) I have gone there for dinner and had them forget to put my order in. The first time was for a pizza that I ordered at the bar. After seeing three other pizzas come out of the oven I asked the bartender about mine. At that point she put in my order. The second time I sat at one of the tables and ordered a hamburger. Half an hour later the waiter stopped by and said sorry, they were just putting it on. The last time I went there just for dessert I had one of the worst slices of tiramisu that I have ever had. It was still frozen and tasted nothing like tiramisu. The beer on tap is good, but I have never managed to wrangle a waiter or bartender to get a second round. I suggest heading to Brewers Art instead.

And don't forget the housemade potato chips with the melted blue cheese! They're fabulous. Ask for extra blue cheese and get it on the side.

Yes! Its a great place...its casual and they have some great beers on tap. Also, if you go there after 5pm they make there own brick oven pizzas which are great. You defiantly should check them out.
