norma's at the parker meridien hotel, sarabeth's on central park south, or the brooklyn diner. you can't go wrong with any of those.

Just wanted to thank you again for the Brooklyn Diner suggestion. It was perfect and just a stone's throw away from our hotel. The Benedict rocked and I cannot forget the cubes of fried polenta w/ sage.... damn it was good. Neat place too, very deco and we had a nice booth w/ a view.

a bit east of the museum, but PJ Clarkes (55th and Third) makes a mean Bloody Mary and has a good brunch menu if you want that Pub feel.

Why don't you just eat at the MOMA cafe that's on the 5th floor? The menu is fun, the drinks inventive, the atmosphere light and it makes for good ppl watching too. In spring and summertime, it's a special treat to sit outside and look out over the sculpture garden too.
