i bought this italian passion fruit for a tart, but had way too much. Do you think I could use it for passion fruit bars (like lemon bars?)

  1. Rose Levy Beranbaum has a recipe for passion fruit curd in The Cake Bible (and probably in The Pie and Pastry Bible). It can be frozen so you could make it now for future use.

This passion fruit curd is divine as a filling for eclairs and donuts.

    2. Well, it sounds really good, though you'd probably have to adjust the sugar down and maybe tweak some other ingredients. And if it doesn't work, remember the approved CH method of disguising flopped desserts: crumble it over ice cream and call it a topping.
