Mi lindo yucatan. Good for a group?

I'm thinking about heading out to try mi lindo yucatan (mission branch) with a group before doing some dancing around Mission and 18th on Saturday night. Is this the sort of place that would be good for a group? What's the atmosphere like? Any must order dishes? Thanks!

  1. I haven't been in awhile, but I did love the food. The atmosphere left much to be desired. I wouldn't choose it for an "occasion" place, more like a place to meet for good food. I'd go to Little Star for pizza before a night of dancing.

    1. I've been to the one on Valencia & 15th. It's was low on atmosphere and small, but the food was quite good. Cochinita pibil is a must order dish. How many branches do they have?

There's one other on 24th Street in the old Alcatraces space, as I recall. I think that's all.

      2. My office had a holiday party at the 15th St. one a couple of years ago. There were about 15-18 of us and they put together tables. It was fun and very good.
