Atlantic City

My girlfriends and I are taking our friend to Atlantic City for her bachelorette party next weekend. Any suggestions for a fun place to eat while we are there? We will need dinner, drinks, and breakfast. Thank you!

  1. While Atlantic City is one of the lesser Outer Boroughs, I used to eat at a place called the White House Sub Shop (on Arctic..?) that I really enjoyed. It is what it sounds like, but top of the line. Also zillions of old pictures of everybody eating their sandwiches from the Beatles to Muhammad Ali, Sinatra (who they say (whoever they are) had sandwiches flown from there to wherever he was), etc. May be best for lunch, if you're still there...

    1. yes White house is very famous for their subs and rightly so.

For best food bang for the bucks (it ain't the cheapest) do the buffet at The Borgata. I think the better bargain is in the lunch. The brunch /breakfast is good too. Definately not typical Casino fare

      1. we're heading down next weekend to do the same thing... check out cubalibre @ the trop. looks like a fun place, not cheap.

        1. That sounds great. Does anyone know about Fornino's for dinner?

          1. Depending on how much you want to spend, there are plenty of good restaurants now. I liked an Asian fusion restaurant at the Borgata (can't remember the name) but I'm sure you can look it up on their website. If you're in the mood for celebrating with vodka and caviar and hearty Russian food, Red Square is worth checking out. I haven't tried it, but Georges Perrier of Le Bec Fin opened a restaurant at Caesars, I believe. But be warned that entrees start at $40. I haven't been. Make reservations at any of these places.
