Seafood/Italian Recommendations-Burlington

My husband & I want to go out to eat tonight but refrain from eating meat because of the start of lent. I'm sick of the chain restaurants like Romano's etc. Any recommendations in the Burlington area..excluding Woburn??

  1. If you like sushi, a great thai and sushi place in Burlington - LemonTree (on middlesex).

funny you should mention that, we just went there last weekend...

    2. Do a search because a fish restaurant in Burlington heading out Cambridge St. towards Billerica has gotten good reviews on this board.

I am not a fan of Lemon Tree on Middlesex.

Also, at 62 and ther road Sun Microsystems is on, there is Flatbreads and Bamboo.

I believe its Burlington Fish House and Grill and here is one of the threads on it. http://www.chowhound.com/topics/155940. I have planned to go there, but never quite made it.

For something a little more upscale you could try Catch in Winchester.

If you hadn't ruled out Woburn, a Brazilian Moqueca could have also been a possibility.

I second the Fish House. Not fancy, pretty much order at the counter and carry it to your seat, unless it's changed since I've been there. But it's good! It'll probably be mobbed tonight, since it's a Friday in Lent.

      2. I was able to find the bamboo restaurant website but i can't find the flatbread one :-( "three of us"..can you help?

        1. sorry..i spoke too soon, i found it. thank you!!

          1. I second Catch.
