A fun, good late-night dinner place in Lincoln Park

Can someone suggest a place to go for a light dinner and drinks around the Diversey and Halstead area at 10 PM on a Saturday? Looking for someplace that has a lively, hip sort of atmosphere, but won't have totally succumbed to drunken revellers by that time. Any ideas?

If you like Matisse, then the Wine DOC Bar on Clark near Wrightwood has a similar dimly-lit vibe.

There's also La Creperie on Clark, not sure how late they're open...

11 on weekends, according to their website www.lacreperieusa.com

I'd thought about Matisse, but worried about getting a table during such prime drinking hours... I might meet my friend there, and then head further afield should we find that inhospitable. Thank you for the suggestions so far... Spend very little time in that area.

The Black Duck (Halsted and Willow) has decent food. They are open pretty late, but I'm not sure how late they serve food.

Erwin is only open till 10:30, which cuts it pretty tight.

You're thinking of Matisse which is on Diversey between Clark and Halsted (it's actually been around for about 4 years now). It's primarily a bar (especially at 10pm on a Saturday night), but the food there is better than it needs to be. The only challenge will be getting a table at that hour on a weekend. But it is a fun place to hang out.

Dunlay's on Clark & Wrightwood is a good casual spot with a decent wine list.

X/O is open till 11 on weekends and specializes in "small bites". Very hip.

Another option, also open till 11 and specializing in smaller dishes, is Jack's:
