Vera's Burger Shack Patty
My wife and I loved Vera's Burger Shack in Vancouver during our last trip!
I'm trying to recreate the patty for home consumption and enjoyment. Anyone familiar with the patty and think they know which cut(s) of beef is/are used and how it's spiced?
i have it on good authority (my own) that vera's would send you a spice pack to make your own patties, if you want to go from scratch, start with medium ground beef, use pepper,crushed red pepper flakes, dried garlic, dried onions, salt fennel seed, and pepper.
I thought it was caraway in their burgers not Fennel. I've been trying to "clone" vera's meat for a while now, pretty sure it was caraway in there last time I pulled one apart.
