Missing taco truck: 29th and Broadway, Oakland

The taco truck that's always in front of Grocery Outlet between 29th and 30th on Broadway has been gone for two weeks now. Anyone know where they are? On vacation, perhaps? I think the truck is callad Barajitas or something like that.

  1. It was there on Wedesday around 12:30 pm when we came out of Grocery Outlet.

    1. It was there today at 3:45 when i drove by Grocery Outlet.

      1. Yes, it was gone for a couple days but it seems to have returned. I work at Summit and was a little panicked at the prospect of my favorite lunch being unavailable. I've never been able to figure out their burritos--they come in 4 sizes, I believe. There's regular, deluxe, super and extra-super, ranging in price from just under $3 to almost $7. What's up with that?

I think the different sizes sounds nice. I would happily take the smallest every time. The huge size is a major reason I never order a burrito at a taqueria.

        2. I saw it today around 25th/Broadway at about 1 pm.

          1. The tortas are pretty tasty.never had anything else.

I really like their carnitas, usually tacos and sometimes burrito. I've never had a torta there. What kind do you get?

I usually get tortas al pastor -- meat, avocado, crema, lettuce, tomato, and a lime wedge to squeeze over all. If they have any grilled onions and jalapenos left by the time I get there, I grab a bunch to stuff into the sandwich.
