called the number and no one picked up. The answering machine is this woman speaking french, hahahahhahahaha~ still can't figure out what their business hours are

      1. re: oohlala

I was curious to hear their french answering machine message, but someone picked up.

        Weekdays: 8am - 6pm
Weekends: 8am- 5pm (but they said that if you come by at 7:30-7:45 they're generally still open).

        Hope that helps.

7:30PM??? on weekends? or you mean AM?

          Thanx so much, amber!

    2. The woman did say "still" which I took to mean PM (AM would make her say "already", right?). But going during official hours is likely a safer bet :)

      You're very welcome. Enjoy!

Tried their pain au chocolat today and I wasn't impressed. Minimal chocolate inside and there's something missing about the dough. The best pain au chocolat I've had is still from the Applepie Bakery Cafe at Culinary Institute of America. sigh........ new york, so far~

i personally think their strength is the almond. their croissant dough is ideal for par baking, stuffing with decadent but none too sweet or custardy and perfectly almondy filling, then baking a little again to combine all the decadence.

straight up croissant, le cigogne... however if you order up the st honore ones frozen and bake them yourself.... wow. just wow.

Where can I get these st honore croissants? I can't seem to find their phone number.

            1. re: HarryLloyd

unfortunately... no phone number. which is rather a bit of a hassle when you have to preorder the frozen croissants 24 hours or so in advance. drop by 2945 bloor street west between these hours, and you should be ok.

              Sun & Mon : closed
              Tues.-Thurs: 8am to 7pm
              Fri: 8am to 9pm
              Sat: 8am to 6:30pm

and how terrible of me, it should be saint, not st.

that's what the bakery does at CIA, froze the dough first before baking them. My friend (a student there) told me I do not wnat to know how much butter they put in there...............................................................

              1. re: oohlala

i highly suggest you drop by saint honore... i think you'll be quite pleasantly surprised but ignore all the butter coming off of the croissants and just think of it as a hand moisturizer ;) nothing is better than fresh out of the oven. they're also quite sizeable... although i still grab for a second.

        2. I have heard about the boca brekfast but I can't find the address I live in Deerfield beach It sounds so good I gota tried.
