Does anyone know of all-kosher appetizing stores in Manhattan, or can you tell me what Kosher products Zabar's carries? This is just for a lunch pick-up.
I believe Supersol on amsterdam ave has an appetizing department and they hand slice Nova there as well.
I am looking for hand-sliced fish. If that is not possible, are there any places in Brooklyn that still do it? Also, how can one get to Acme via bus or train? I don't drive.
Zabar's sells their own lox prepackaged with a hashgacha, which happens to be delicious.
What are you looking for? Just about every supermarket in Manhattan carries Acme brand smoked fish, which is kosher. If you're looking for fresh-cut fish, that's another story.
