Good chocolatey donuts in LB?

Oddly enough, there are about 4 donut places within a 2-block radius of my home. However, for my miserly-spent calorie "dollar", none of their chocolate donuts have a real chocolatey kick to their frosting. I remember Stan's as having a nice, intense chocolate frosting, but is there any similar in the LB area?

What about that place on 7th Avenue near CSULB with the huge donut in front? They have a drive-thru window.
