        <content>It's her birthday and she's obsessed with apricot creme mille-feuille pastries. Apparently there used to be a place in Santa Monica that made them but they're gone now. It's her birthday. Anyone know where I can get these pastries or anything like them?

A close second favorite of hers is St-honore cake. I know Susina makes one but I haven't tried it. Any good?

      <content>I've had a really good Mille-Feuille from Frances Bakery in Little Tokyo.  I don't believe it had apricot creme, though, just a good custard.

      <content>It's not a bakery to-go, but the mille-fuile at Hatfield's is fantastic.  It's served with caramelized banans and a malted vanilla.
