Sierra's Mexican Restaurant in Sudbury?

emilief Feb 21, 2007 08:52 AM

I was shocked to read under another post about Sudbury that Sierra's Mexican restaurant is still there. We used to go there years ago and for some reason assumed that it had closed. It used to be relly great- excellent margaritas and yummy mole. Has anyone been recently (I think it is more than ten years since we have been)?

I can't say I've been recently (two years maybe), but it's definitely still open. Doesn't look like it certain times of the day for sure but other times their parking lot is pretty full. I remember having something called chimichangitas for lunch that last time that were pretty good. Hopefully somebody will post with a better and more recent review.

Yes indeed, still there, still renowned for margaritas. I'm not wild about the food but they say to stick to the shrimp dishes. Really nice decor, which you wouldn't expect given the outside.

You probably saw my post in response to Lincoln/Sudbury. Yup, it's still there. The margaritas are still killer, and the food, while by not authentic, is reliable. I love the chimichangitas under the apps menu.
