Breakfast near Exhibition Place?

I've been wrecking my brains but cannot seem to come up with a decent place close to the exhibition place for early breakfast on a weekend morning - any suggestions?

Old York Tavern on Niagara is v. close, have had great eggs benny there, not sure how early they're open though.

My wife and I live in the area and tend to frequent Bar One at Queen and Shaw. I belive they serve brunch/breakfast as early at 9am on Sat and Sun.

Swan is also quite popular for brunch and is open both days.

Mildred Pierce is only open on Sundays and not until 10 or 11 I think.

No, nothing to do with Anna Olsen. I've only been there for brunch. It's a cute little place with nice food.

Used to live on Strachan...Mildred Pierce isn't too far off - I don't know how early they're open though. I second Sugar, but again, don't know if they're open early. There's Foggy Dew on King (I've never had breakfast there though...).

You can try the Drake Hotel or the Gladstone Hotel which are both on Queen West east of Dufferin.

It depends on how close/if you have a car. When I'm around the Ex/Ontario Place for a running event on a weekend morning, I usually go to Sugar for brunch on Queen West near Trinity Bellwoods Park.
