cheese and kumquats?

Over the weekend, I posed this question to one of the women at a cheese store I happen to like: what would you pair with kumquats?

Her suggestions were piave, St. Andre, and...something that sounded like schaum (I was thinking..."gee, that sounds vaguely like 'foam'" when she mentioned its name while handing me a sample).

Any others?

Also with Parmigiano Reggiano and Pecorino Romano. The sharp, salty, and nutty flavors go well with the sweet and sour citrus.

I love 'em with any good blue cheese.
