Ideas for fun 25th bday dining experience in South Bay/Peninsula?

I'm looking for something unique and vegetarian-friendly (though not strictly a vegetarian or vegan restaurant, as there are some meat-eaters in the group). It'll be a small group (4 people). Any ideas? We already did fondue and tapas for another friend's bday, but a restaurant along those lines would be great.

I did check out the other South Bay/Peninsula lists going on, but most of those menus have very few vegetarian options.

Would appreciate any suggestions...thanks!!

How about Zeni for Ethiopian food? It's super vegetarian (even vegan) friendly, plus they have a lot of good meat dishes, and they have the best Ethiopian food my friends and I have ever tasted:

Also, Be My Guest Thai Bistro-can cover your requirements and it's very reasonable

      or
Saha- Yemenese Arabic/Californian cuisines- lot's of their small plates are vegetarian

They will do a fixed price option for $25.00 per person

No fast food or high price gourmet (we want to keep it at less than $30/person), but otherwise no preference. We're open to almost anything.
