Any other delivery service besides FreshDirect?

Does anyone know of any other deliver service in Manhattan besides FreshDirect? I want to get high end groceries and appetizers sent to my home. Wondered if there was anyone else besides Fresh Direct? Any ideas?

gotta try MaxDelivery.com. They operate in lower Manhattan only, the minimum is only $10 and they deliver in under one hour. No need to wait next-day like with Freshdirect or the others. I think they charge $3 for delivery and if you go over $50, it's free delivery.

In my experience, most Manhattan supermarkets and grocers deliver if you go to the store and shop. Which ones, though, let you order, online or by phone? Food Emporium, D'ag. Others?

Fairway delivers, and if I remember correctly the delivery fee is only a couple dollars.

As I mentioned yesterday, a new company is being launched to compete with FD , it is called Bread-n-brie (Breadnbrie.com). I found out about it on Brooklyn Records, and was really impressed with the companies approach. :)

I believe Trader Joe's and Whole Foods both deliver, but the fees differ depending on where you live.

Wildly Edible at Grand Central also delivers.

D'Artangan offers overnight shipping (their facility is located in NJ) with a flat rate of $25, but you can get all kind of fancy food like foie gras and wagyu beef.

Dean & Deluca & Bazzini deliver for a fee. Food emporium isnt high end but they deliver for free i believe

fyi, Food Emporium's free delivery is on orders over $40.

Now that FE has jacked up it's prices even higher (and drastically reduced the number of weekly sale items), meeting that minimum shouldn't be too difficult

Gristede's also delivers. But I still prefer FD.

Citarella delivers for a small fee. Not sure of their delivery areas. You can go shop yourself and have it delivered or you can call and place an order for delivery.
