Soaking liver in milk?

I bought some lovely little chicken livers today and am going to make them tomorrow with onions. How long should I soak them in milk before cooking?

  1. Overnight should be fine. You really don't need to do it for a super long time because all your mostly doing is just storing them in milk for later usel; it's just a side benefit that some of the impurities are removed.
