Saturday Brunch around Palm Beach?
Without a doubt, take your parents to the Breakers for Sunday Brunch. Its a great place to go for a special occasion. I just celebrated with my Uncle for his 80th B-day there last week. My husband and I agreed after going we couldn't have picked a better place to celebrate. I think it was Wiily224 who responded to my post when I asked a similar question to yours regarding where to go for this special occasion.. He said something like "Go with the Breakers for the whole experience." He was absolutely right. The room itself where you eat is just beautiful. The ceilings in the room are 30ft high adorned with handpainted murals depicting a variety of Renaissant Landscapes. . Our table had an Ocean view and then there was a harpist playing the whole time who even came over to our table and serenaded us. The service was excellent and the free flowing mimosa's and champagne were great! The Brunch itself was in another room right outside to where we were seated. It had everything you could imagine from the omlette station, waffles, eggs benedict and fresh fruits to the raw bar with large sized shrimp, king crab claws, clams to other stations including lambchops seared as you waited , to prime rib, to sushi bar (okay) to pasta dishes and caviar. I think the dessert table had over 30 different choices. They even brought over a special plate with assorted desserts with Happy B-Day written in chocolate for my Uncle . They have some great shops in the hotel as well after your done eating if you can still move or theres lots of places where you can just sit and relax afterwards... Just a few things if you do decide to go....call for a reservation as soon as possible...they get sold out fast...also we requested a table overlooking the water..it was really nice but further from the entrance to wear the buffet was...so if walking is a problem get a table closer to the entrance of the room as you will be going back and forth several times to the buffet and when you make your reservation let them know its a special occasion.
I know you asked for someplace for Saturday Brunch, unfortunately I think the Breakers only offers this Brunch on Sundays. Hopefully, Sunday will work as well for you. Its a great place to celebrate such a special occasion as your parents 60th Wedding Anniversary. Congratulations to them and enjoy if you do go. P.S. When I was deciding on where to go, someone suggested I try the Sunday House in Delray Beach. I had also heard this was nice as well. You might want to check that out in case the Breakers doesn't work. Good luck.
If you all like seafood, especially raw bar Spoto's Oyster Bar is wonderful. They have one in downtown West Palm Beach on Clematis and another one out west on Palm Beach Gardens Drive between I95 and the turnpike. It's nice to sit inside or outside.
