Pho Pasteur?
Anyone been? The reviews on menupages seem to be pretty good...
Also, anyone know if they're the same people as all the Pho Pasteurs in Boston? I realize that 2 restaurants in 2 places could easily have this same name, but you never know...

Pho Pasteur unfortunately isn't that great. You should try Nha Trang, which is nearby. It's crowded and kind of a dive, but it's the best pho I've had in the 25 years I've been living in NYC. They actually have many other great dishes too.

I haven't been in years, but I don't remember either one being that great and definitely not the best in NYC. There are tons of pho discussions on the boards, some of them quite recent. Why not look through the archives?

I don't know if these two are affiliated but in Saigon Vietnam, there is a famous pho restaurant near the Pasteur Hospital referred to often as the Pho Pasteur. I imagine that there are quite a few pho places with this name.
As for the Manhattan Pho Pasteur, it's pretty good for pho. I did not think it was outstanding, but solid.
