Lunch with Mom and my new fiance Monday in Hollywood

Any recs? Want to stay Hollywood (-adjacent, at least) since it looks like rain...

You know, that's funny you mention Musso and Frank's...I just met the owner...hmmm...good idea!

Street closure will probably make getting there tough, but if you want to get fancy, there's always Musso & Franks on Hollywood Blvd. Oldest restaraunt in Hollywood. Good food. Real professional waiters. Like getting into a time machine.

You may have to factor street closures into your selection--it's Oscar time you know.

Ammo, Hungry Cat, grub, Magnolia, Bowery, Fabiolus, Square One, eat, Ike - I believe most if not all are open Mondays.
Also, what about Larchmont? It isn't my stompin' ground so someone else is likely to have a better rec than I but it fits the bill and is a charming area.

Ammo is a great place for a nice brunch.

Village Idiot would be perfect if I was going to lunch with my in-laws, but I wouldn't want to give my MOM any ideas! ;)

How about Campanile? Or maybe the Village Idiot?
