Hola chowhounds --

I'm meeting some friends in a few hours for brunch in Westwood and wanted to know whether anyone had suggestions for a good brunch. Any price range from cheap to a slightly expensive brunch (ie La Brea Bakery brunh) is fine, just forewarn me.

Thanks!

    Napa Valley Grille
    Gardens on Glendon
    Moustache Cafe
Damon & Pythias is more inexpensive but good

Moustache Cafe has closed about six months ago.

If you are looking for a stylish somewhat expensive leisurely brunch, 930 at the W Hotel is much more the place to go than Napa Valley Grille or Gardens on Glendon. For simple eggs and accompaniments the Bakery Cafe on Westwood. Elysee, on Gayley, for a frenchish bakery cafeteria line and casual place to sit. Damon & Pythias on Broxton more for maincourse salads and sandwiches.

For chow, I'd forego all of these and meet at one of the Persian places on Westwood Blvd between Wilshire and Santa Monica Blvd. for kebobs and rice and yummy stuff -- perhaps Shamshiri or Sheherzad.

Also, as much as it is overpriced and overhyped, Jerry's Famous Deli accomodates groups, has parking in the back, and has a huge menu for breakfast and lunch items.
