i've heard stories about little fish restaurant not being consistent, but dined there last week and new chef/owner is doing a superb job. What other byo's are hot in philadelphia.

  1. Went to Matyson last night with the wife. It was outstanding. If you haven't been there, it's a must. The grilled octopus appetizer was one of the best I appetizers I have even had.

Other BYOBs worth mentioning include Django which I thought was great and Pumpkin, which I thought was decent, but not particularly outstanding.

    1. Although I haven't been to many, I can enthusiastically recommend Audrey Claire's, which doesn't seem to get much play on this board. Had a lovely mean there with some friends from out of town, one of whom is a chef, awhile back -- he thoroughly enjoyed the meal, too.
