Santa Barbara

Suggestions for really good dinner in SB? I know this is a broad question....we're open to anything....Mexican, Seafood....just not the usual touristy places like Brophy Brothers. Thanks!

  1. How far are you willing to travel? The Los Olivos Cafe is great. We had a yummy dinner in a hip and pretty intimate setting even though the place was pretty packed with locals. The staff was very attentive and knowledgeable.

    1. The WIne Cask in Montecitio is great.

The Wine Cask is in Santa Barbara. . .

HungryInHancock, you might want to do a search. There are many threads about Santa Barbara.

      2. La Super Rica. Small shop Mexican food with a line out the door every night.

        1. Funny, I just recommended this on another post, but try out the Paradise Cafe for one of the best burgers you'll ever have. Oak grilled, juicy and pink in the middle. The Wine Cask is good, but for a more casual approach try Intermezzo, the Wine Cask's sister. There are so many places to eat in Santa Barbara: The Sage & Onion, Bouchon, it's hard to narrow it down. Joe's Cafe has all kinds of more down-home style foods and, according to some, the strongest drinks in Santa Barbara,

          1. You got to try Superica on Milpas st on the right after Cota St one of Julia Childs favorites. Casual!!!
