Need Caterer ASAP

Help! I need a good caterer for a brunch I'm throwing at my home after a funeral service. (Morbid, I know.) I'd like to go a step beyond bagels and coffee and have a person there making omelettes for guests, etc. Can anyone recommend a good and creative caterer? thanks

      1. It's Saturday evening and you may have a hard time getting someone on the phone if you don't have an established relationship with a caterer. If the company you work for or one of your friends has a regular account exec at a good firm and can get hold of them over the weekend, that will help.

On such short notice, you may do best to stick with Ridgewell's, Design Cuisine, Occasions, Susan Gage, Capital Catering, B&B,etc., depending on your budget. You probably don't have time for interviewing or much comparison shopping, so you may want to stick with the tried and true in the metro area.
Caterers will have omelet station menus and you'll do well with that from any of the regular good firms in town. They have to stay creative since they do high-end events as well as run-of-the-mill. I've used several of these firms on very short notice for really good events and they all perform well.
When you have to do something important in a hurry, don't take a chance on the unproven or unknown to save a few bucks.
