Rue Lepic still stellar?
My wife and I will be passing through the Bay area soon. We looked at Rue Lepic (Pine St.) when we were last in The City 15 months ago, but wound up snaring a cancellation at Chez Panisse instead. The most recent posts about Rue Lepic are over 2 years old - any updates?

It's still stellar.
This is one of my favorite restaurants, and probably the most consistent restaurants in the city. I've been going four about six years now; used to be my go-to place when I was visting SF. Now that I've moved back, I still love it for special occassions.
Love the intimate setting (and the small, open kitchen); and, boy, can she (the chef/owner) cook. Have always gotten the fixed price menu, with the seafood pasta (absolutely delicious); I've enjoyed all the entrees, especially the veal, duck, and sweetbreads; and I typically order the passionfruit mousse.
I've recommended the restaurant to a number of out-of-town guests; they've all loved it.
I love Chez Panisse, too, but this is a totally different experience. Go, have a wonderful, lovely and laid-back time.
