We're driving tomorrow morning, anything worth a stop?

Tons of possibilities. What's your pleasure? Taquerias or other ethnic? Upscale?

Here's Robb Walsh's hilarious review of Kelley's at I-45 at Park Place (Hobby Airport exit), but go only if you're ravenously hungry.

Right across the street from Kelley's is Noemi's Taqueria, a very small place with some good breakfast fare.

thanks for the suggestion. I didn't have time to read your reply but coincidentally we ended up stopping at kelley's near dickerson. We ordered the grand slam and another big breakfast. It was one of the best (if not the best) southern breakfasts we've ever had. The chicken fried steak was certainly the best I've ever had.

Glad that worked out for you. I didn't realize there was another one right on the freeway. I've never had the appetite to tackle the Grand Slam.

yes, it was an imposing amount of food that we didn't finish. What happened was that I saw it brought to someone else's table and figured we wouldn't be back there anytime soon, so why not...
