        <content>I had a revelation a few days ago with the 2004 Franck Peillot Roussette du Bugey Altesse from Montagnieu (Jura).
Outstanding character, nose, finish.
Perfect acidity.
Can't wait to get some oysters to match this baby.
Thank you, various rating Gurus, for keeping this baby off your radar screens!
Thank you so much Wine Spectator for rating 79 points the 2003!
$20 at USA retailers.

      <content>&gt;&gt;from Montagnieu (Jura)&lt;&lt;

Jura is stretching it. While Bugey is nestled in the Jura mountains, it's actually closer both geographically and in spirit to the Savoie, which it lies just west of.

Wish we could get Peillot wines here in Quebec.
