Family dinner in East Village?

  • 1

I am bringing my parents and kids to the Orpheum Theatre on 2nd Avenue for my fathers birthday. Can anyone recommend a place to eat before the show, which starts at 7:00pm? I had hoped for Cacio e Pepe but it does not open until 5:30 and I probably need a place that opens at 5:00 to allow for enough time. I had thought about Johns on 12th Street or walking over from Bianca on Bleeker. We would prefer Italian. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

  1. I've always enjoyed:

    Lavanga, Perbacco, Supper, Il Bagatto

Nothing amazing but solid neighborhood places.
My first choice would be Cacio e Pepe for sure, sorry it didn't work out.
