Does anyone know of a place to get an amazing burger in the MetroWest area?

Thanks!

  1. I've always enjoyed a Johnny Rockets burger, for a throwback to old school fast-food like burgers. there's one in Burlington Mall, I heard the one in Natick mall closed.

A GREAT burger is in Harvard Square at Mr. and Mrs. Bartley Burger Cottage.

RJ Crowleys in West Newton has tasty burgers with some interesting toppings...and sweet potato fries! Ditto for Bison County on Moody Street in Waltham.

    2. My vote is Wild Willy's near Watertown Square, which may be slightly closer to the city than you want but is well worth the trip. Speaking as a Texan, I find the burger scene in Boston extremely disappointing (Bartleys in particular I think is just awful: burgers should not be shaped like lightly squashed softballs), but Wild Willy's comes closest to the transcendent burgers of my youth. They're also the only place I know of around here that does green chile cheeseburgers.

I think we've had this conversation before, but are you sure you mean Bartley's having softball style burgers? That's always been O'Sullivan's MO in my mind.

      2. venture out of metro west to Game On by fenway. don't pick a game night to go, fabulous burgers!

        1. I get my burger fix at TJ's, Ashland. Mediocre steak fries, sub O rings.
Nobscot's in Framingham has a great Monday deal, good fresh meat. All burgers under $4.
The Chicken Bone is another good one.
          None spectactular.

          1. dunn gaerin in Newton has a good burger and a friendly atmosphere if you eat it at the bar.
