Looking for romantic spot in Westlake Vill/TO
Any suggestions on a nice, quiet, but not grossly over-priced place in the Westlake Village/Thousand Oaks area? Fairly impartial on food type, we're just looking for something unique and good in the area.

Regarding Meditteraneo, I've been and the food was quite good. Certainly beautiful decor and a very nice outdoor patio overlooking a small lake.
Zin Bistro in the Landing is right on Westlake Lake is another beautiful spot with a great patio. Food is good and generally interesting.
And even though it's a small chain, Alessio on T.O. Blvd. is a very nice place with fine Italian fare.

Boccaccios on the lake in Westlake is fairly romantic at sunset.

re: foodseeker
I agree that Leila's is a good suggestion!
It is in the Oak Park Center (I'm not sure of the official name) at the northeast corner of Kanan and Lindero Canyon. If you exit the 101 at Lindero Canyon and proceed North about 4 miles, you will just cross Kanan Blvd. (an intersection with a traffic light) and then make the first right into that mini-mall. It is tucked in the furthest corner. I do suggest reservations.

We like two spots, one in WL and one in Agoura:
Mandevilla Restaurant
(805) 497-8482We always sit out on the (enclosed) patio. Food is good, not great, but very edible and not at sky high prices. Martini's are a little skimpy ($9.00 - $9.50) but well exeucted.

Cafe 14
30315 Canwood Street, Agoura Hills, CA 91301
(818) 991-9560Again we like the patio, less crowded and quieter. Good good and nice presentations. Have always received good and friendly service. Owner chef.
