Is their dinnertime joint still open, or what? Seems last time it was referred to was by
a l i c e who said her boyfriend's wings didn't fly, back in 05. I'm rarely over there, but if I were, would I care? Would I receive the same shabby treatment as at the breakfast spot? Etc.
Thanks!

It's open. Had a perfectly decent takeout meal from there last summer. Strikes me as more a neighborhood resource than a destination. Can't speak to the service but I haven't noticed much sitdown business.

Ah. Thanks! I try to get worked up over breakfast but I just can't--too far (for me) for a mimosa-less AM meal.

I tried it once too, last summer. Had an okay falafel, tabbouleh, hummus plate. Nothing special. No need to return with True Grounds next door and a zillion times better for lunch/light dinner. But no, Yasser isn't there to terrorize diners (although I've never been terrorized by him myself I believe others who have reported this.)

Yes, we got a couple of wing orders to go that according to B, were not good (too saucy, not spicy enough, some were too sweet) and he is not one to refuse a wing. To be fair, that is the only thing he tried and we haven't been back since (right after they opened).

I've ordered mediocre falafel/hummus/baba ganooj from there a few times. It was fine - not mind blowing, but they deliver to my house, which is a plus. Definitely NOT a destination. Haven't had the wings though.
