Only one place in West Covina. Big Als. I don't care for the Ribs but the rib tips are O.K. What's a better place?

Anywhere in the SGV? Robin's in Pasadena is pretty good BBQ.

If you like brisket, Canyon City BBQ in Asuza is pretty darn good.

i've been to big al's ( is it big al's or hungry al's ? ) and canyon city bbq - i like both, but i'm a bigger fan of canyon city...big al's..you gotta get their at the right time, otherwise....the meat is too dry.

It's Hungry Al's if you're talking about the place on Vincent just north of the freeway.

I really like Canyon City BBQ in Azusa. It is down the street from where I work. My favorites are the brisket and pulled pork. The Tri Tip is smoked so not rare, I prefer my Tri Tip rare. Also they have a good Philly Cheese steak!
