Gold Mountain dim sum :-(

I'm far out of the loop on the Chinatown dim sum round, but Gold Mountain is not worth wasting a meal. I guess I am spoiled by the rich dim sum hunting grounds of Millbrae, where we go every weekend. GM was seriously deficient. Y-Ben in Chinatown is OK. Is there anything else in Chinatown on par with the Millbrae San Bruno places?

Not that anyone here has reported on though it's been awhile since anyone has tried Louie's and there are reports of a new dim sum chef.

I work nearby so I will see if I can get myself there in the near future. Thanks for the tip, hope springs eternal.

        City View on Commercial?

What about New Asia? My friends say that they have good dim sum, but not too much else to offer.

New Asia has a lot of atmosphere and ghosts from the days when it was called "Asia Garden" and was the only big HK-style dim sum game in town. It's been a long time since I've heard anything good about the dim sum, though.
