Weekday lunch in Encinitas?

I work on Encinitas Blvd but usually bring lunch from home. I was wondering if there are any good, quick (relatively) lunches to be had in this area. I'd prefer not to have to go down to the 101 side... maybe staying along the loop of Encinitas Blvd/El Camino Real/Leucadia Road?

I've picked up something from Yellow Coyote before, but I haven't had a sit down meal there. I think I'd feel a little silly doing that all by myself.

I'll give Pei Wei a try... any recommendations on what to order (or stay away from?)

What about Wahoo's Fish Tacos in the Target shopping center? Also Yellow Coyote Tortilla Factory at the Forum shops?

In the La Jolla shop they were very dry and quite overcooked and I wasn't too impressed by the quality.

I like the Wahoo's in Encinitas. I always ordered the mushroom enchilada with the red sauce. I thought everything was cooked well. Then I cross the street and get a green tea ice blended at CBTL

I will second honkman's assessment of Wahoo's - overcooked and dry. I would like to add, the fish tacos are grilled, not fried. Yellow coyote has better grilled ones for about $3.75 each! www.yellowcoyotetortillafactory.com

Try Pei-Wei ioff Leucadia Blvd where Arco is. It's a great lunch. Fast, filling & lots of it! It's a fast food PF Changs (They own it).
