Bouchon Bakery tonight

My husband and I were thinking of eating here tonight, around 6, before the ballet. Anyone know if there's typically a wait at dinnertime? We've only been on weekend afternoons.

We were also thinking of Rosa Mexicano, since it's so close to Lincoln Center--is this a type of place where you can just walk in and get a table or do we need a reservation? Do they have a bar area? Thanks for your help!

I've heard great things about their homemade oreos and nutter butters but every time I have gone around 6:30 p.m. they have been sold out. Woe is me.

oreo is better than the nutter butter...but IMO the chocolate bouchon is better than both.

I always get the grilled cheese and tomato soup. It's perfect in this kind of weather. Also, don't forget to order a few chocolate bouchons...the are delish!

bouchon bakery has the best bread i have ever eaten. really. it's worth the trip for their french bread. brilliantly simple, but on the money.

I went there (Bouchon Bakery) the other night and it was very quiet/not crowded. But the service seemed slow despite this fact. They also have a takeout counter too with soups, salads and sandwiches, desserts.

You definitely need reservations for Rosa Mexicano though, its often crowded. They do have a bar area.
