hi,
does anyone know where to buy great chinese new year moon cake(in toronto)...you can get moon cake everywhere, i know, but the top notch stuff is, special...not sure if the best is only from hong kong but if so it can be bought here...i just don't know where.

    Moon cakes are not for the Chinese New Year, they are for the mid autumn festival in October. I doubt if you can find good fresh ones now.

      last time i had moon cake was at Lai Wah Heen last fall -- they made their own in house and served them as complimentary dessert at the end of the meal ...none in our party are moon cake fans usually but these moon cakes were so good we bought a box to take home (they were by far the best I've had in T.O.)
