There have been many discussions on this subject. If you're looking for restaurants, we swear by Roberto's on Crescent (we just had a fine dinner there last week - agnolotti stuffed with ground lamb and goat cheese, scamorza, a perfect osso bucco, chicken on the bone agrodolce). For other choices, Dominick's is a try-it-at-least-once experience, and Enzo's has very large portions of solidly prepared Italian-American classics; both are on Arthur Ave.
We generally have dessert and coffee at one of the pastry shops; current favorite is Morrone's on Arthur, but Egidio's and De Lillo's on 187th are also fine.

If you're thinking about food shopping, please reply if you have anything particular in mind - because there's a host of options.

Arthur Avenue is outstanding. The original Little Italy. You can't go wrong up there, especially with Dominick's. And Egidio's pastries, the cannolis there are fantastic!
