There have been many discussions on this subject. If you're looking for restaurants, we swear by Roberto's on Crescent (we just had a fine dinner there last week - agnolotti stuffed with ground lamb and goat cheese, scamorza, a perfect osso bucco, chicken on the bone agrodolce). For other choices, Dominick's is a try-it-at-least-once experience, and Enzo's has very large portions of solidly prepared Italian-American classics; both are on Arthur Ave.
We generally have dessert and coffee at one of the pastry shops; current favorite is Morrone's on Arthur, but Egidio's and De Lillo's on 187th are also fine.If you're thinking about food shopping, please reply if you have anything particular in mind - because there's a host of options.
