Hello all...my brother is coming soon to visit and loves out of the way, fun, good, a little different place......my 93 year old mother will also be coming with us for a meal, so a quiet place is good, so she can hear!!!! What terrific ideas do you all have?

Stokes can get pretty noisy on weekend nights...

How about Mark's in Dundee? I love that place, and it's a good combination of the familiar and innovative.

O Casual (right next to El Basha) has a fusion menu and seems calm unless you're there late-night.

Definitely make reservations if you're going to go to Espana, and if you want a quiet place make sure there are no flamenco dancers.

I would agree with marks and espana, but espana is always busy and noisy, but fun. if you dont want that dont go to espana or stokes, marks will be quiet.
