Anyone been to Bar Marmont recently?

I am trying to find a restaurant that would offer a unique dining experience as well as quality food. Has anyone dined at the Bar Marmont recently and would you recommend going there? If not, where else would you suggest that would also be reasonably priced ($100 for 2). Thanks!

I heard that as well. She's already completely redone the dessert menu at the hotel - and it's fantastic. White Coffee Creme Brulee, Warm Gingerbread with Poached Pears, and an amazing sorbet trio: Goat Cheese (<---incredible!!), Espresso and Hazelnut.

As long as she keeps the braised oxtail ravioli on the appetizer menu, I'll be fine with any changes :)

I haven't been recently but a friend tells me that there's a new chef, a woman who used to work at the Spotted Pig in NY. Over time, she's supposed to redo the menu in the hotel as well...

I have been there recently and I wouldn't call it a unique dining experience food-wise, but the atmosphere is nice and the food is decent. NOt sure if you can get out of there for under $100 for two unless you don't order any alcohol...

I don't Bar Marmont fits the bill. It isn't particularly unique and the quality of the food varies. I think there are better choices in that area and in that price range (Chameau would be obvious) but you might consider reposting ...
