Vegetarian in/near Hollywood
for a family Singaporean/Chinese/Candian vegetarian tourists for both lunch AND dinner?
I'm clueless on this. this request is more painful than making me chew hay. I suggested Boule/Jin Pat. for afternoon tea/dessert but beyond that, I'm lost. hey, at least they're not vegan!

I'd put in a vote for Chichen Itza on 6th; they're reasonably close to Hollywood, they've got some vegetarian goodies on the menu, it's a pretty space, and I'm guessing it's unlikely that Singapore has too many Yucatecan places. Watch out for the habanero garnish, though....

M Cafe de Chaya on Melrose at La Brea for a casual lunch.
There's a vegan Thai place also on Melrose near La Brea called Busaba which is supposed to be good.
The Newsroom Cafe on Robertson is good for tourists, ok for lunch or dinner.
Paru's Indian in east Hollywood for vegetarian Indian, but it might be a little too funky -- it's not exactly glamorous L.A.
