Tapas with porrons?

My SO and I just got back from a trip to Boston, where we tried to get into Toro but lacked the endurance required for the three-hour wait that was quoted. He was really looking forward to drinking out of a porron, so I'm trying to find a local place where he can experience the wonder of the Spanish wine bong.

I've heard a rumor that Tia Pol has wine served in a porron. True? False? Any other recommendations?

Thanks!

You might look into Tasca, recently opened on 7th Ave. South and West 10th St. It's very pretty and the dishes are terrific, as is the paella

i like TIA POL a lot, but we've been going to LAS RAMBLAS lately. more variety, just as tasty.

i disagree about tia pol. i think it is a touch overrated. good, but not as good as degustation, casa mono or boqueria in my view

Not sure about porrons, but Tia Pol's food is spot on. Call during off hours & ask about those porrons.
