Best NYC pizza chain

I know this has been discussed at length, but my search yielded no results.

I'm attending the NY Comicon at the Javits Center, and would like recommendations for good pizza nearby. Please remember--the worst NY pizza will be better than the best DC pizza.

John's Pizza in Times Square (44th st. ?) has fine pizza. It's not going to win the best pizza in NYC, but it's good...and the place itself is really unique (it's an old church).

But this place does not sell slices so you'll have to go with friends or bring a large appetite...it also is a bit of a walk from Javitz, probably not a place to go to if you have a limited lunch time.

for very, very good pizza within a reasonable walk, i'd recommend Lazzara, on 38th street near 8th avenue -- javits is at 12th in the high 30s, which is about a ten minute walk. there are a few recent discussions here about what's good there....
