Breakfast on Valentine's Day

We can't get a babysitter for the evening, have busy afternoons so the SO and I are going to try to do a romantic breakfast after we drop the kids off at their schools.

Any ideas for romatic places with good food on a weekday? Even though it is V'Day I doubt anyone is doing anything special for breakfast. Seems like its even easy to get lunch reservations that day for popular restaurants, seems like people are saving up for dinner!

Here is another wrinkle: One kid is in Van Nuys the other in Hollywood so somewhere between those (or not too far from either) would be great.
