Have Car, Need Random Brooklyn Spot THIS AFTERNOON!

Hey all -- I've got access to a car and will be in Brooklyn. Any randoms spots to recommend that are easier to get to by car than train? (I've done DIFara's, tho that's my backup.) Sunset Park? Bay Ridge? Wherever? Any ideas are welcome, but it's got to be quick! :)

Good! But here's the thing: It was so cold out, we ended up at a random Chinese place -- I can't remember the name, but it was great. It's on 8th Ave. at about 42nd St. in Sunset Park. I'll find out the name.

Turkish food at Taci's Beyti on Coney Island Ave and Avenue M (?). Just before Kings Highway. It's excellent.

5th Avenue in park slope has some great little spots. A di La was really delicious when I was there in Nov.

I just got home from one of those jaunts!
Bahn Mi in Sunset Park (8th Ave 42/43 St) and Asian grocery shopping and tamales on Fifth Ave (46th St, red awning)
or Bay Ridge (Piazza Mercado, 92nd and some low numbered ave) if you want Italian salumi
or Coney Island for a Russian/Polish extravaganza (M&I International Foods, tons of produce, a shot of vodka on the boardwalk...a gaze at the winter ocean on a sunny day)
or Red Hook (no ballfields, but Fairway, Baked, Margaret Palca Bakery, and a bunch of nice restaurants that you'll have to search the board for)
or dimsum at World Tong (that's two blocks from a train tho)

Never been but have been meaning to go to Randazzo's in Bay ridge (I think). Search the board, there is a lot of discussion about the seafood.
