Lunch around Universal City

Hogg Feb 9, 2007 02:04 PM

I work in the area and I'm always looking for new places to eat lunch because the same places get boring after a while. I'll create a list of all the places (excluding fast food chains) that I already know about. Please suggest any other places that are worth having lunch at. Keep in mind, my list isn't comprised of places that I'm recommending.

Good Neighbor
City Wok
Casita Taco
Corner Cafe
Aloha Hawaiian BBQ
Original Thai BBQ
All the eateries in CityWalk
(some tortas place I forgot the name of)

Wow, that list is shorter than I thought but I guess I eat at a lot of places that are chains.

Aroma Cafe (sandwiches & soups) on Tujunga is very good and a cute location, I recommend their turkey burger and any of their soups.
Almost next door to Aroma is Caioti Cafe (pizza & pasta). I would also highly recommend Artisan Cheese Gallery on Ventura & Laurel. Their sandwiches are sooooo good!

Outtake Bistro on Ventura Blvd is pretty good as well.
