Wanting KFC (Korean Fried Chicken)!

I bet I'm not the only one still salivating from that NYT article.

Does anyone know of a place in the Boston area (like, say, within 30 miles) to get Korean Fried Chicken? Or do I have to make another Chinatown Bus trip (perhaps rolled in with an XLB run)?

Jae's Cafe in Boston and Coolidge Corner has an appetizer called Szechuan Chicken Wings, which are similar to the Korean Fried Chicken. They're easier to eat because they're smaller and not as saucy. My husband loves them and he loves chicken wings.

do they do plain fried chicken sans the sauce? I have only eaten fried chicken plain in korea and loved it this way...although I hear that the sauce is quite popular. do they serve the fried chicken with pickled radishes at color?

i ate there a couple weeks back and had the fried chicken. pretty good, if messy to eat (for me, anyway). decent kim chi pancake there, too.
