Nestle Chocolatier

Has anyone tried baking with Nestle's new line of premium baking chocolate? Is it any good?

I purchased the Nestle Chocolatier yesterday and I am going to make a chocolate cake for my family with it this weekend. I usually use Ghirardelli or Guittard bittersweet for baking, and I am very interested in how this will compare.

As chocolate chips go, I like Guittard chocolate chips better than Ghirardelli and Nestle chocolatiers are almost comparable to the Guittard.

Chowser..I agree with you. I typically use Ghiradelli but discovered Guittard when they added it to my grocery store a few months back. Now I pretty much split my chocolate usage between the two brands. However, on the two occasions that I've purchased the Nestle Chocolatier, (I've had coupons), I've been disapointed with the flavor. In addition, the Chocolatier tends to be more expensive than both Ghirdadelli and Giuttard at the store where I shop. It wasn't bad..just not worth the extra money.

Yes, it is very good, check out some of the recipes on their website. I especially liked the decadent brownies. Very rich. I also made a dark chocolate pecan pie bar with excellent results.
